At Planted, we believe that you were created on purpose for a purpose. We believe there is no insignificant life, that God does nothing by accident, and that you are here for such a time as this.
Isaiah 61:3b says that God's people are planted (placed) by the Lord to be oaks of righteousness that "display His glory." So whether you are planted in your living room surrounded by toddlers and diapers, a college classroom surrounded by peers and professors, a board room surrounded by coworkers, or an almost empty nest surrounded by teenagers preparing for the future - YOUR LIFE MATTERS and God wants to use you RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE to bring Him Glory!
Over the years, we have found that...
We stop letting life "just happen."
We live more intentionally.
We slow down.
We see people.
We invest in relationships.
We live our lives looking up - looking for opportunities to share Jesus with others.
What felt "mundane" becomes "ministry."
What seemed "ordinary" now feels laced with the miraculous.
We begin to see God present in our everyday lives.
We listen for His voice more.
We let Him take the lead.
We are braver. Bolder. More willingly to say, "YES!" to whatever God calls us to.
Why?
Because we know - we were made wonderfully by a wonderful Father and placed right where we are to bring Him glory.
We have a job to do.
And suddenly...
All those insecurities and comparisons that have held us back for so long fade in the light of the TRUTH of what our Father God says about who we are
and why we are here.
And we step into it.
And bloom where we have been planted.
Today...know this...you are not here by accident.
You, my friend, are here on Kingdom Assignment.
And it's time to live like it.
